The client is a global (Illinois, US based) firm, manufacturing
and marketing a wide ranging agricultural, forestry,
and construction equipment.
SRA developed an automated Warranty Claims Processing
application that would handle the claims made by dealers,
whenever reimbursement was required for products that
were under warranty, or under the category of their
Product Improvement Plan and Special Allowance Claims.
The application would run on a J2EE environment, with
data being migrated from a legacy IBM mainframe system.
The application would also have to integrate with an
in-house Electronic Service Information System used
for reporting.
SRA was involved in the following activities as a part
of this project apart from the development of the software
