SRA's document processing activity for a renowned car rental company.

 

The client entrusted SRA with a unique and complex image-enabled document processing BPO activity for one of its customers - a large car rental company of repute in the US. SRA provided a solution to process information from more than a million documents per month. These documents are being processed at India and are electronically accessed by the client from their respective locations over the web.

The client uses the onsite facilities in North America for all scanning services. All the documents are scanned and digitized. The image documents thus scanned are indexed minimally like document type, source etc. using the local Imaging Server-A and the Database Server-A and stored in RAID5-A, available onsite. This RAID also acts as a FTP server.

These image documents are then be transmitted electronically through WAN via a firewall to the client's offshore facility, India. These images are being accessed by the local clients for further business processing. These processed documents are then uploaded back to the RAID5-A.

The client accesses the documents from multiple locations through the Web Server A, located at client's North America facility for its business requirements, or should the need arise, through the Web Server B, located at the offshore facility as the data is replicated for redundancy. The solution involved implementation of Workflow with integrated Document Management System.
