| The client, having global headquarters in NY, is one of the world's leading financial management and advisory companies.
SRA was involved in the migration of the system from
the source environment: Microsoft Access to DB2 on OS/390
in Phase 1 and UDB on zLinux in Phase 2. The scope of
the project also included conversion of the client’s
applications from ASP to J2EE, data cleansing and migration.
The client’s system primarily involves an operations
turnover system to facilitate data center operators
to track incidents and communicate them from one shift
to another. The system also generates a number of reports
for the management to track the health of the data center
and monitor service levels.
SRA’s expertise in legacy system to state-of-the-art technologies migration ensured smooth progress of the project. The newly developed system is scalable for future requirements and performance is also uninterrupted.
