  SRA’s expertise in web-enabling existing applications to the aid of a leading TX based software solution provider
  The client (TX based) offers software products and Web services to the multi-family housing industry. The client wanted to migrate their ‘property management’ applications - from an existing platform to a new platform, which enables highly scalable application. A fully object oriented, scalable system was developed with unique features.

Scope of Maintenance Service

 
  • To fix defects such as navigation errors, data errors as reported in Test Director by the client’s QA team
  • To fix issues as raised by the client’s Business Associates. Since SRA attained a high caliber of the domain knowledge during the extraction phase (to extract the business logic from the legacy systems), many of the issues were discussed with SRA and SRA’s suggestions were weighed at high in implementing the changes
  • To incorporate new requirements as requested by the client’s Business Associates
  • To implement performance enhancements as requested by the client’s infrastructure (architect) team
  • To clean up the code for standards as requested by the client
  Maintenance Process:
 
  • The client sent emails to SRA on a daily basis prioritizing the defects/issues
  • Configuration management was done using VSS installed onsite and connected using VPN
  • The defects/issues assigned to SRA were downloaded from test director
  • The issues that were sent by mail were consolidated
  • The status of the work done by SRA was sent to the client on a daily basis
  • The client supplied SRA with baseline data to fix the defects/issues
